Zaza arrived on Boxing Day, Sunday 26th December 2010.  She is from a lovely family of five kittens - her mother's name is Mya and is registered Genetta Dizzy Lily.  Her father is Beau, officially known as Grand Champion Genetta Beauregard.  They are both excellent examples of blue point siamese and I hope that Zaza will also be as beautiful and with the excellent nature of both her lovely parents.

Her registered name with GCCF is Scotmar RaBoberg Qissbombe but she is happy to be known as Zaza.  I would like to thank Diane Marsden for letting me have this beautiful little princess.

This picture was taken shortly after Zaza arrived home with me.  As you can see from the above, she has grown so much over the past three months and is turning into an elegant little princess.  She was lovely as a baby, still is and always will be, a gorgeous 'meezer.
Zaza is proving to be a very characterful little princess yet ever so loving too.  She enjoys her "me" (her) time and tries to own me ahead of the other two adults.  She will taunt Kiki until a chase ensues and then plead to me to rescue her from the difficulties she gets herself into.

Its good that she has a healthy appetite and will eat most things - one thing she doesn't like is a certain food that is sold with vegetables in it.  Yuck.  She doesn't like that at all.  She will eat vegetables if they are on my plate but not if they come with a ready made cat food.  Anyhow, she is growing well and her colour is still a lovely pale shade.  I have been taking her to shows and she has been taking it all very well indeed.  The journeys can be a bit trying for her so I do not go to shows which entail a car journey of longer than two hours.  We have been collecting a few rosettes and my wall will soon be covered in them (I don't have a very big house).  However, these are just "nice to have" extras.  The second Zaza tells me she hates showing, then she doesn't have to go to any more shows.

Zaza is my pet first and foremost - someone whom I love and care about.  Her health and happiness come far above anything I want to do with her.  It may be my plant to enter her for enough shows to see if she will gain a title or two but its also down to the judges and of course, mainly, to Zaza herself.   It may be my plan to perhaps take her to be mated one day, but she may have other ideas and if that is the case, then she will always be loved and have a home here with me.

I do hope she will eventually have a litter ...perhaps more than one if nature is kind to Zaza, her babies and me.  I shall post news about these things when the time comes.   She is still a kitten and its so good to enjoy her playfulness at the moment - let it continue for a bit longer, there is no hurry, she is only six months old.  My sweet little princess Zaza.
Here is little Zaza having had a long day at the Essex Cat Club show - I have opened the pen door to avoid taking a picture of the pen bars.
Here is Zaza's pedigree.
